He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred A. Hirzel and Bertha Hirzel (Vogelsanger); and his siblings, Alfred E, Robert L, Donald, Hugh Hirzel, Madelyn Cimpritz, Thelma Hoehener, Ruth Brown and Betty Stotz.
He is survived by: his son Greenhouses. He is also survived by eighteen nieces and nephews and numerous grand and great nieces.
