She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Virgil Carpenter; her children, Jerry Lee Moore (Diane Murphy), Holly Lyn Kausch, William Robert Moore (George Baez), Kevin Paul Moore (Christine) and Lori Beth Kidd; her stepson Richard Allen Carpenter; her grandchildren, Alea Kennedy, Hannah Moore, Bethany Kausch Rich, Matthew Moore, Jonathan Carpenter, Cassandra Rempel, Aaron Carpenter and Tyler Carpenter; and her siblings, Patricia Gilbert (Bill), Paul Harmon (Sherry) and Chip Harmon (Christina).
