He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Burns and Josephine Burns; and his siblings, Laverne Leho and Gary Burns. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Burns; his children, Steven Burns (Margaret) and Deborah Van Huffel (John); his grandchildren, Michael, Edward, Thomas, Anna Burns, Isabel, Jacequeline, William and Margaret Van Huffel; and his siblings, Sharon Toronski (Richard) and Ed Burns.
