He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Ruchty and Viola Ruchty (Graff); his wife Eva M. Ruchty (Gelhaus); and his brother Gerald Ruchty. He is survived by: his children, Nick (Pam Ruchty), Renea (Joe Harlamert), Mark (Jill Ruchty), Ted (Julie Ruchty) and Rhonda (Keith Moorman); and his sister-in-law Thelma Ruchty of Coldwater. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
