He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Berger and Mary Berger (Christian); his siblings, Marjorie Speelman, William Berger, Patricia Knapke, Elizabeth Hassenauer (Bob Lake) and Madonna Winner (Terry); his in-laws, Joseph Berger, Gene Speelman, Janice Berger, Paul Knapke, John Gavit and Michael Gavit (Patricia); and his parents-in-law, Robert and Dorothy Gavit.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Subler (David) of Worthington Ohio, Lisa Bergman (Brian) of Rossburg Ohio and David Berger (Kara) of Montgomery Ohio; his grandchildren, Ashley Daniels (Brian), Anna Marie Subler (Aaron Skinner), Andrew Subler, Abigail Subler, Austin Bergman, Taylor Bergman, Megan Siebeneck (Brad), Amber Bergman (Riley Dilworth), Jackson Berger, Alex Berger and Logan Berger; his great grandchild Dorothy Daniels; and his in-laws, Treva Berger, Karen Puthoff (Virgil), Margaret Gavit, Rebecca Pohlman (Henry) and Patrick Gavit (Margo).
