He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Glen and Ruth Loretta Waggoner (Subler); his grandson Aaron Waggoner; his sons-in-law, Randall Swallow, Daniel Kender and Dr. William Roberts; and his brothers-in-law, Floyd Griffith and Paul Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Marie Waggoner (Strait); his daughters, Denise Ann Opperman (Jeffrey) of Lexington, Mary Rochelle Kender of Ansonia, Loretta Catherine Sacher (Michael) of Celina and Jacqueline Joan Roberts of Yellow Springs, Ohio; his grandchildren, Matthew Opperman (Christine) of Dayton, Dr. Charles Opperman (Sara) of Waynesville, Maria Verma (Ashish) of Monroe, Nicole Mead (Joel) of Versailles, Amy Goubeaux (Anthony) of Minster, Lori Gengler of Celina, Mychael Arwood (Dylan) of Fairborn, Julian Roberts of Yellow Springs and Griffin Roberts of Yellow Springs; and his siblings, Charlotte Griffith of New Iberia, Mary Thomas of Dayton, Jerry Waggoner (Karen) of Rossburg and Ruth Jean Stammen (Lavern) of Coldwater, Ohio.. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
