She was predeceased by: her parents, James Douglass (Ruth) and Edith (Bernard Thomas, Sr.). She is survived by: her husband Randolph; her children, Ted Carver, Thomas Carver, Tina McKinney, Teresa Gay, Tara Scullion and Tammy McMillen; and her siblings, Bernard Thomas, Jr. and Scharla Delfosse. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
