He was predeceased by: his brothers, Alfred, Walter, Adolph and Genther Viehbeck. He is survived by: his wife Katharina; his children, Kurt Viehbeck (Georgia) and Linda Fiocca; his grandchildren, Karl, Katharina Viehbeck and Joseph Buzancic; his great grandchild Michael Buzancic; his sisters, Maria Hatzel, Anna Gliebe and Irmgard Hrace; and his siblings-in-law, Hans and Hannelore Herzog.
