She was predeceased by: her parents, Fermin Taruc and Juanita Taruc (Grayson); and her brothers, Fermin Jr. (Francisa "Kikay"), Henry (Ligaya) and William.
She is survived by: her husband Holland D. Abilay; her children, Darlene (Bryon Verhoeven), H. John and Melissa Hilsenroth (Troy); her grandchildren, Madeline, Trey, Kennedy, Lincoln and Zoey; and her siblings, Claron Taruc (Donna), May Murphy (Tim), Annie Taruc and George Taruc (Anna).
