With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert A. Van Bergen of North Ridgeville, Ohio, who passed away on December 2, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Scott and Matt (Sara); his stepson John Phifer; his grandchildren, Sydney, Shea and Bowen; his sisters, Carol Van Bergen, Mary Sharp (Jeff) and Gayle Van Bergen; and his son Robin Van Bergen (Tom Carson).

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donation's in Bob's honor to: The Zeta Lambda Foundation (to support the Kent Sigma Chi Chapter that he loved and ensure that future generations benefit in the ways that Bob did).
