She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian Diederich and Robert Diederich; and her sister Diane Pritchard. She is survived by: her son Jeremy Gaines; her brothers, Dean (Shelley) and Mike Diederich (Lisa); her aunts, Shirley Capel and Annie McCoy; her uncle John Snyder (Joyce); and her friend Frank Vacha. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
