She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie "Less" Pennington and Coralyn Pennington; her husband Lloyd Hardwick; her son Alan Hardwick; and her brothers, Keith, Jack and Thomas Pennington.

She is survived by: her brother Darrel Pennington (Fearl); her niece Linda Westrick (Dale); and her close friend Madeline Armour (Bill). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
