It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Ray Matthews of North Ridgeville, Ohio, born in Denbo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Matthews and Iva Matthews; and his siblings, Jim, Dorothy, Charles, Thelma, Sylvia, David and Faye.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Haurin of Fairview and Helen Longsdorf of Berea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park North Olmsted (6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).
