He was predeceased by: his daughter Andrea Hoyle-Grove; his grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon and Taylor; his parents, George Grove and Marjorie Grove; and his sister Janice Balcita.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Grove (Woodside); his children, Zintka Fox of Tionesta, PA, Tammi Grove (Patty Haberman) of Kyle, TX, Melvin Grove (Sylvia) of Sullivan, OH and Keith Grove II (Holly) of Lima, OH; his son-in-law Earl Walker of Concord, SC; his grandchildren, Cassie Harle (Alan), Shayne Allen, Cortney Phillips (Michael), Adam Grove, Nicholas Zuchowski, Maureen Marshall, Casey Grove, Keith Grove III, Madison Grove, Melanie Grove, Andrew Grove, Cole Fox, Wyatt Grove and Evan Grove; his sisters, Joyce Grove of Brownsville, CA, Crystal Anderson of Cleveland, OH, Edna "Shorty" Adams of Clear Lake, CA and Sheila Roach of Riverbank, CA; and his pets, Bandi, Maggi and Babi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
