Jerry D. Snyder Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry D. Snyder Sr. of North Ridgeville, Ohio, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Debs Snyder and Sarah Snyder; his son Jerry D. Snyder Jr.; his grandsons, Andrew Snyder Sr., Joseph Brooks II, Jeffrey Brooks and Cody Lee Snyder; and his siblings, Gordon Snyder and Jean Miller (late Dennis).
He is survived by: his wife Deloris; his children, Georgia Snyder of Elyria, Christen Gunder (Gaylord) of Wellington, Ronald Snyder (Shelley) of Elyria, Bryan Bartlebaugh (Jennifer) of Vermilion and David Bartlebaugh (Kristen) of Elyria; and his siblings, Leanna Cassidy (Dick) of North Ridgeville, Ted Snyder (Marion) of Elyria and Donald Snyder (Fran) of Flushing, MI. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liston Funeral Home (36403 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the VFW Post #9871 (6805 Lear Nagle Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
