He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon and Tella; his son Timothy; and his siblings, Jim, Junior, Anthy, Elmy, Parley and Cyrldia.
He is survived by: his pet Puma; his wife Phyllis Ann (Gilman); his children, Debra Crigger (Robert), Bruce Dempsey (Barb), Melissa and Gerald Dempsey (Carrie); his grandchildren, Rose, Robert, Amanda, Christina, Jessica, Monica, Tiffany, Bruce, Daniel and Hannah; and his great grandchildren, Kaytlyn, Breanna, Karli, Kalon, Colten, Austen, Leah, Isabella, Cameron, Ceria, Ethan, Natalie and Ava.
