He was predeceased by: his daughter Dusty Brooks; his grandson Brayden Bridges; his parents, Rev. Ralph Soloman and Bertha Bridges; and his siblings, Lois Gunder, Marge Lawson, Eleanor Fiscus, Norma Kunze, Bernard, Arthur, Joe, Phillip, Kenneth and Paul Bridges.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Bonnie Bowling (Daryl Chidisey) of Nova, Wendy Dias (Don Gilland) of North Ridgeville, Jill Chapman (Randy) of North Ridgeville, Jimmy Bridges (Tiffany) of East Bernstadt, KY and John Bridges (Stephani) of Lawton, OK; and his siblings, Carole Roberts of Mansfield, Judith Rejonis of Gallipolis and Keith Bridges of Heath. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
James donated his body to the Cleveland Clinic; burial will be at a later date in Ridgeville Cemetery.
