He was predeceased by: his stepgrandchild Taylor Castilyn; and his parents, Daryl Davis and Helen Davis. He is survived by: his wife Patricia E.; his daughter Heather L. Greer (Dean) of Kingsport; his stepchildren, Mario Cipriano (Brenda) of North Ridgeville, Michael Cipriano (Judy) of Westlake, Anthony Cipriano of North Ridgeville, Theresa Cipriano Castilyn of Snead Ferry and Angela Chatfield (Michael) of Overgaard, Arizona; his grandchildren, Evan Carter (Celesta), Josh Carter and Nora Fox; his stepgrandchildren, Kenny Pedley, Steve Pedley, Jill Sheeler, Jacob Cipriano, Nicholaus Cipriano, Anna Cipriano, Paige Castilyn, Troy Castilyn, Olivia Cipriano, Wesley Cipriano, Silas Cipriano, Sophia Bedell and Michael Chatfield; and his siblings, Tammy Tanzer (Mike) of Ironton, Cathy Byrd of New York, Daryl Ed Davis of Ironton, Danny Davis (Suzanne) of Ironton and David Davis (Nancy) of Cardington, Ohio.. He is also survived by seven step great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Missions Fund of Columbia Road Baptist Church.
