As Deanna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Deanna. Though Deanna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Sr.; her parents, Ralph and Ida L.; and her brothers, Jeff (Wanda) and Eugene.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Schlenkerman (Rick), Vicki Rowe (Dondi), Roger Jr. and Greg (Trisha); and her siblings, Deborah Thompson (late James) and Randy Ledyard (Kathy). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fraternal Order of Elyria Eagles (1255 Lowell St, Elyria, OH 44035). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Brookdale Cemetery (41600 Oberlin Elyria Rd, Elyria, OH 44035).
