It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlie Scaggs of North Ridgeville, Ohio, born in Chapmanville, West Virginia, who passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Scaggs and Elva Scaggs (Adams); his children, Gregory Scaggs (Joy) of Lorain, Sherry Lucas (Jim) of North Ridgeville and Tammy Butcher (Dave) of Valley City; his grandchildren, Ryan Lucas (Cassie), Alyssa Lucas, Kara Vecchio (Dom) and Brandon Butcher (Samantha); his great grandchild Emmeline Francine Lucas; his sister Iva Squires of Cleveland; his wife Anna; and his brother Frank Scaggs.
