He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Shaffer and Verna Shaffer Sr. (Norris); his wife Barb (Jeewek); his daughters, Katie Shaffer, Brie Bourdo and Erin Shaffer; his grandchildren, Avery, Harper, Sawyer, Declan Pesto, Scarlett and Stella Bourdo; and his pet Calvin. He was also cherished by his 3 beautiful.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ben's memory to Junior Achievement of North Central Ohio, a cause dear to Ben's heart as he served as a mentor to many young adults.
