He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Batteiger and Loyola Batteiger; and his brother Terry. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Batteiger; his children, Bob Batteiger (Diana), Bonnie Heidelman-Towner and Cindy Batteiger-Gilmore; his grandchildren, Nicole, Amber, Michael, Matt, Mandy, Melissa of Marc, D. J., Kevin and Kailey; his great grandchildren, Livie, Delilah, Carter, Madelyn, Emma, Weston, Rhett, Tripp, Jaxson and Mason; and his sister Karen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Et Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services (6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
