He was predeceased by: his parents, William Caplick and Stella Caplick; his wife Marilyn J. Caplick; his stepdaughter Kathryn Bollinger (Tom); and his sister Margaret Caplick.

He is survived by: his stepdaughter Linda Tehoke; and his niece Penny Puhalla (Thomas). He is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
