He was predeceased by: his parents, Stavros Christou and Yiannoula Christou (Mourouli); and his brother John Christou. He is survived by: his wife Evangelia "Angie"; his children, Olga Christou (Debbie), Mary Szekely (Les), Steve Christou (Alexia) and Joanne Filina (Rob); his grandchildren, Darrell, Michael (Sarah), Stephen, Corey, Aaron, Joshua, Isaiah, Angelia (Jermaine), Matthew Nicholas (JoAnna), Angelique (Sean), Adam and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Lucas, Neil, Abigail, Adam, David, Xana, Savannah, Mackenzie and Anthony; his siblings, Maritsa Gastis, Stavroula Fotiou and Rena Vogdos; and his pet Ringo. He is also survived by many family members, including nieces and nephews, and close friends.
