He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Purtan; his children, Samantha Loop (Jordan), Desirae Ashline (Pete) and Buddy Searles (Joyce); his siblings, Tamra Britton (Jerry) and Jeff Purtan (Amy); his grandchildren, Sophia, Skyler Searles, Allison Sherman and Kylie Loop; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher and Ashley Purtan.
