“Just saw this today because your dad's Christmas card just came back to me. Bob and I were good friends through politics and other adventures. We mostly talked on the phone since your mom and Marilyn passed away. He made me laugh and always told me what was on his mind. He always said "doggoned" for emphasis. So sorry I missed the funeral. Please send along my condolences to the rest of the family.”
