It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Van Bloom (North Olmsted, Ohio), who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bloom and Marie Bloom; his wife Arlene Bloom; and his brother James Bloom. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Bloom (Rita) and Brian Bloom (Kasey Krebs); and his grandchildren, Theodore Bloom and Caroline Bloom.

In honor of Richard, donations can be made to the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
