Merda of North Olmsted, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on August 25, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Merda and Stephanie Merda; his son Paul Vaitekunas; and his sister Christine Schimmer (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Merda; his children, Christine Sampat (Leon), Liz Powe (Ken), April Gasper (Adam) and Mike Merda (Emily); his grandchildren, Payton, Paige, Jackson, Emma, Henry and Eli; his siblings, Donna Nieder (Don), Jerry, Raymond, James and Kevin (Becky); and his mother-in-law Marilyn.
