He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis and Ruth Hosier; and his brother Jack Hosier. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Hosier; his son John Hosier; his grandchildren, Sydney E. Hosier and Sean P. Hosier; and his brother Ray Hosier.
