He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Hughes; his child Sandra Hughes; and his sibling Betty Frambaugh. He is survived by: his parent Eleen Hughes; his spouse Theresa Hughes; his children, Cynthia Nicholl (William), Candace Toaddy (Mitchell), Randall Hughes (Jody), Elaine DePhillips, Raymond DePhillips and Richard Hughes; his grandchildren, Stacy Neace (Tom), Adam DePhillips, Lauren Hughes and Alex Hughes; and his great grandchild Addie Neace.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Richard's name are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
