It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Dennis Pier of North Olmsted, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Pier and Lester Pier. He is survived by: his wife Alice (Schwind); his children, Jim and Shannon (Steve Pfeiffer); his grandsons, Connor and Tyler; his stepdaughter Charlene Campanella (Stephen); and his sister Judy Gallagher (late Jim).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church (5665 Great Northern Blvd, North Olmsted, OH 44070).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Western Reserve.
