He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Sterling and Virginia Sterling; his wife Marlene Sterling; and his siblings, Grace Super and Gene Sterling.

He is survived by: his children, Glenn Sterling II, David Sterling (Gayle) and Linda Grealis; his grandchildren, Cullen Grealis (Makenzie) and Stephanie Grealis; and his brother George Sterling. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
