He was predeceased by: his parents, John Altmeyer and Edith Altmeyer; his brothers, John, William, Robert and Charles; and his daughter-in-law Joan.
He is survived by: his wife Lois; his sons, David, James (Judy) and John (Susan); his grandsons, Jason, Jeremy and Darren (Megan); and his great grandchild Caroline. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
