He was predeceased by: his wife Irma W. Pangrac; and his parents, George Pangrac and Rose Pangrac. He is survived by: his son Dr. Walter Buck (Anne); his granddaughters, Christine Cantwell (Joe) and Elizabeth Giuliani; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Ian, Ella, Lily and Nicholas.
