Dennis F. Symon Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis F. Symon of North Olmsted, Ohio, who passed away on September 28, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping Dennis' spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Patrick Westinghouse; and his parents, Olga Symon and Preston Symon. He is survived by: his spouse Angel; his children, Michael (Liz) and Nikki Westinghouse (Louis); his grandchildren, Kyle Sanderson (Krista), Nathan Westinghouse and Blake Westinghouse; and his great grandchildren, Emmy Sanderson and Butch Sanderson. He is also survived by his family and being his father's favorite child.

Michael Wyler wrote a sympathy message

“Dennis and I were in the same homeroom at Cathedral Latin High School. We lost track of each other but reconnected when I started working at Ford Motor Company where he was my boss.. After we both retired, we have played many rounds of golf together. It was always fun to play in his foursome because of his quick wit and sense of humor. We will miss him.”
