He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Franklin and Lois Isabel Ackerson (Crissman); his wife Janet Rose Treese of Clymer; his daughter Barbara Wright (Thomas) of Albuquerque; his granddaughters, Molly and Samantha; his children, Nancy Roberts (Dempsey) of Riverton, Utah and Lorie Hill (David) of Cleveland; his granddaughter Jasmine Davenport; his great grandchild Alexis Holland (Lexie) of Brunswick, Ohio; his grandson Jeff Ackerson (Brenda) of Bend, Oregon.; and his siblings, Larry Ackerson (Bertha) of Marion Center, Pennsylvania, Richard Ackerson (Patty) of Creekside, Pennsylvania and Karen Johnson (Tom) of Indiana. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
