He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Krause and Olga Krause; and his brothers, Siegfried and Gotthard Krause. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Charlene (Muth), Mahon (Kevin) and Scott Krause (Megan); his grandchildren, Abbey, Joshua and Campbell; his sister-in-law Elfriede Krause; his nieces, Marge and Sue Costello; and his nephew Dan Krause.
