She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garey and Maggie Echols Garey; her husband Robert I. Schmidt; her son Garey Robert; and her siblings, Helen Todd, Gladys Nichleson, Mary Siddel, Earnest, Kenneth, Phillip and John Garey.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Kimmel (Robert) of Poland and John David Schmidt (Barbara) of Columbiana. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
