Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Ackerman (North Lima, Ohio), born in Salem, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 76, on November 14, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Ackerman and Gertrude Ackerman (Sauerwein); his son Jimmy Ackerman; and his siblings, Donald Ackerman and Karen Houser (Dell).
He is survived by: his close friend Beth Martin; his daughter Robin Best (Jason) of North Lima; his grandchildren, Kylie Holtzee of North Lima and Joey Holtzee of Garden Prairie, IL; and his siblings, Cheryl Bell (Tom) of Columbiana and Dennis Ackerman (Carol) of Manlius, NY. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Due to our current health crisis, covid-19, we are asking everyone in attendance to please wear a mask or face covering and to maintain all social-distancing guidelines mandated by our governor (6-foot rule and not to linger).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Rob's memory to Youngstown Shrine Club, 1735 S. Range Rd., North Lima, OH 44452.
