It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Sauerwein of North Lima, Ohio, born in Damascus, Ohio, who passed away on August 10, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daryl Scattergood and Dorothy Mayhew Scattergood; her brother Glen Scattergood; and her grandson Ryan Stansbury. She is survived by: her husband Bill Sauerwein; her children, John Sheldon (Cindy) of Leetonia, Jan Ondrey of North Lima and Larry Sauerwein of North Lima; her sister-in-law Carole Scattergood of New Springfield; her grandchildren, Brandon Stansbury, Aaron Ondrey and Spike Sauerwein; and her great grandchildren, Faith, Grace, Jordan, Miles, Piper and Tessa.
