He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Williams Dickey; his stepmothers, Elsie and Ellen Dickey; his daughter Tammy Dickey; and his brother Paul Dickey.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bell; his father Joseph Dickey Jr. of North Lima; his mother-in-law Frances "Granny" Bell of North Lima; his son Joseph Dickey IV of Boardman; his siblings, Karen Cole (Roger) of Mechanicsville, VA, Nancy Miller (Greg) of Columbus, OH, David Dickey (Dawn) of North Lima, OH, Patricia Dickey of Austintown, OH and Kevin Dickey (Jill) of North Lima, OH; and his grandchildren, Leah Marie, Antonio Manual Casas and Joseph Dickey V. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
