He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allen and Erna Allen (Seidner); his siblings, Warren Allen, Gene Allen, Bob Allen, Gerry Sheely, Dorothy Dombrowski and Ginny McCreery; and his grandson Stephen Zuercher.
He is survived by: his wife Darla Allen (Smith) of North Lima; his children, Terry Allen (Kelly) of Columbiana, Troy Allen (Shannon) of Columbiana and Traci Morucci (Joe) of North Lima; his siblings, Sam Allen (Dianna) of Florida, Donnie Allen (Charlotte) of North Lima, Tom Allen (Nancy) of Streetsboro, Larry Allen (Audrey) of New Springfield, Jim Allen (Florence) of Florida, Marian Burroughs of California, Shirley Wichert of Struthers, Martha Cyrus of New Middletown, Phyllis Simmers (Phil) of Florida, Carol Osberg of North Lima and Nancy Crouse of North Lima; his grandchildren, Halee Allen, Landon, Makenna Morucci and Brian Zuercher; and his great grandchild Jaxon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
