He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Horst and Florence Horst (Huff); and his siblings, Dr. R. Kenneth Horst, Donald Horst (Marge) and Grace Lawrence (John).
He is survived by: his wife Helen M. Wright; his children, Kathy Nussbaum (Nevin) of Orrville and Bob Horst (Dawn) of North Lawrence; his grandchildren, Jenny Wilson (Cory) of Davison, MI, Brent Nussbaum (Sarah) of Falls Church, VA, Cody Horst (Elise) of North Ridgeville and Cara Horst of Cincinnati; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Ty, Avery, Harper Wilson, Norah, Maddie Nussbaum, Elena Baird and Hudson Horst; and his brother-in-law Bob Boals (Marge) of Magnolia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
