He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thompson and Arlene Thompson (Greenwood); his wife Marion Thompson (Leas); his siblings, Vonna Carlson (Thompson), Shirley Reinke (Thompson), Leslie and Ronny Thompson; his brother-in-law Charles Reinke; his nephew Burt Carlson; his great-nephew Tyler Aiken; and his siblings, Dean Thompson, Ramona and Chad Kendzerski.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Thompson of North Kingsville; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Thompson, William Carlson and Mary Lee Coxon. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, 37 great nieces and nephews, and 12 great, great nieces and nephews.
