It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Jane Medzie (North Jackson, Ohio), born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Virginia Shirey (Green) and Guy Shirey; her husband Paul J. Medzie; her children, Robert (Mary Beth) of Hilton Head, SC, Victoria Bowman (Roger) of Martinsburg, WV, Thomas (Margaret) of Kent, OH and Michele Sarna (Wayne) of Ellsworth, OH.; and her brothers, Oscar Smith of Clearfield, PA and Ward Smith of Lakeview, WA. She was also cherished by four sister-in-laws, many nieces, nephews and God children.
