He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Sweeting (Jennie) of Shelby, Mark Sweeting of North Fairfield and Steve Sweeting (Susan) of North Fairfield. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
