He is survived by: his children, Karen Butler (Mike) of North Fairfield, Phil Dyer (Shelly) of Norwalk, Phyllis Schindler (George) of Avon and Brenda Corey (John) of Norwalk, Ohio; his grandsons, Jeremy Dyer of Norwalk, Justin Butler of Sandusky, Matt Butler of Norwalk, John Schindler of Florida, Jeff Dyer of Norwalk, Michael Cook of Holland, Derek Dyer of Clyde and Josh Corey of Norwalk, Ohio; his siblings, Roberta Montgomery of Delphi, Donald Dyer (Diane) of Shelby, Janice Dick (Robert) of Willard and Gwen Kilgore (Dave) of Greer; his close friends, Billy and Edna Griffits; and his pets, Mad Max and Rascal Flatts. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
