He was predeceased by: his brother Ronald Hartzel. He is survived by: his sons, Robert Hartzel (Sara) and Christopher Brinkman (Ryan); his grandchildren, Adriana, Donovan Hartzel, Xavier, Isabella, Haven, Sophia, Grace and Ryan Brinkman; his siblings, Judith Helton (George), Pamela Mitchell (late Richard), Fredrick Hartzel and Mary Alice Hartzel; and his sister-in-law Margaret Hartzel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
