He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Elsen and Loretta Elsen; and his siblings, Irene Elsen, Virginia Kleingers (Ray), Margaret Elsen, Mary Elsen, Audrey Stenken (Bill) and Thomas Elsen (Valerie Rice).
He is survived by: his wife Genevieve Wagner (Jenny); and his children, Mary Kay Berning (Dan), Laurie Bauer (Jim), Steve Elsen (Chris) and Linda Hamberg (Steve). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
