He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly Wheeler; and his siblings, Curtis Wheeler and Artie Godbey. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Pickering (Mark), Christiane Powers (Christopher) and Dennis McMillan (Amanda); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Savannah Pickering, Evan, Benjamin Powers, Collin and Kara McMillan; and his siblings, Larry Wheeler (Elsie), Bill Wheeler (Carolyn), Mary Byrd (Hobart), Thresa Riordan and Marlyn Weaver (Gary). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
